I say this with my full chest: we are blessed beyond measure. Life may come with its share of trials and tribulations (and let’s be honest, they come thick and fast!), but each ESWA gathering is a powerful reminder that joy always finds a way to shine through.

✨ Celebrating New Life in June 2025

Our June 2025 gathering was filled with love, laughter, and lots of thankfulness. We came together with:

• Refreshing drinks

• A scrumptious cake

• Spirit-lifting prayers and praise songs

We celebrated the incredible blessing of new life — and oh, what a joyful time it was!

👶🏾 Grandbaby Joy Times Two!

• Mrs. Christy Onodugo continued to bask in the joy of her new grandchild. We also welcomed her back safely from her "omugo" trip. What a blessing it is to see her return refreshed and smiling!

• Mrs. Ngozi Okolo was radiant with joy over the arrival of her second granddaughter. Her happiness was simply contagious!

🙏🏾 Prayers, Praise & Perspective

Our beloved Mrs. Chibugo Oji led us in uplifting prayers and songs, blessing our celebrants and gently reminding us of this timeless truth: "In all things, give thanks to God."

Her prayers and songs filled the room — and our hearts — with peace and perspective.

🍛 Jollof: The Grand Finale!

What’s a proper Nigerian celebration without jollof rice?

Thanks to our wonderful hostess, Mrs. Elizabeth Udezue, we were treated to generously packed takeaway boxes of jollof rice, chicken, and fish.

But here’s a little secret… some of us (ahem, me included!) couldn’t wait and ended up enjoying our jollof right there and then😂. It was that good!
