May Meeting Magic: Triple Birthdays and Endless Joy

One of the many lessons from the devastating Covid-19 pandemic is that every birthday is a blessing. Growing older is never something to take for granted, and each new year is truly a milestone worth celebrating.
Well, ESWA certainly took that message seriously at the May 2026 meeting - because we didn’t celebrate one birthday, or even two… we celebrated THREE!
The joyful celebrations began when our Vice President, Dr Gloria Okafor happily shared news of her very special milestone birthday with the association. Moments later, Mrs Chioma Onyia also invited everyone to join her in thanking God for the gift of a new age. And just when we thought the celebrations could not get any sweeter, our wonderful host and hardworking ESWA Welfare Officer, Mrs Lilian Ngwu - who had already treated everyone to an overflowing spread of delicious food - completed the hat trick by celebrating her own birthday too!
Together, the celebrants came fully prepared with beautiful cakes, refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and enough food to keep everyone smiling all evening long. The atmosphere was simply electric. Laughter and songs filled the room, glasses clinked, and ESWA ladies danced and celebrated with pure happiness.
As the video clip below clearly shows, joy was in abundant supply! In fact, many members declared that the May 2026 gathering was easily one of the best meetings we have had in months.
And honestly, they may have a point.
There were no disagreements, no complaints, no misunderstandings and no wahala - just pure, genuine, unfiltered joy and togetherness.
Moments like these remind us why ESWA remains such a special family.
We are absolutely here for it 💕!
